After graduating from The University of Georgia College of Engineering with a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering, I was hired at AMI and was trained in BIOS/UEFI x86 firmware development. As a Field Application Engineer at AMI, my duties are centered around facilitating the flow of information from development teams to non-development teams and customers in an easily understandble way. I create, maintain, and present informational and demonstrative presentations to current and potential customers, as well as internally to sales groups and other employees. I'm passionate about firmware development and embedded systems -- things I enjoy working with professionally and as a hobby.

Gulfstream Virtual Reality Experience with Eye-Tracking

Senior Capstone Design

A virtual reality experience within Unity3D. Implements emerging technology -- eye tracking within a head-mounted display -- in a virtual cockpit environment. Using Pupil Labs HTC Vive Eye Tracker, a visualization of the user's gaze over a period of time can be created using 3D heatmaps.

About Me

I am a Georgia native -- born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. During my time at The University of Georgia, I discovered my passion for embedded design. I was first introduced to assembly in my Embedded Systems class, and I immediately took to it. I enjoyed the many hours I've spent in the lab coding firmware in assembly for the Motorola 68HC11 and interfacing with various sensors. I will continue to pursue a long successful career as a firmware engineer, software developer, or field application engineer in a related field.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing disc golf, board games, and video games. I also like to design and work on personal embedded/robotics projects using my 3D printer and Arduino/Pi!
